Ethically made , KALA rug is a Classic neutral piece that will compliment in any interior space with its black and white pallete and geometrically handwoven patterns. For KALA rug we are using only the 100% natural wool which is completely naturally dyed by the artisans using organic materials like tree bark, eucalyptus and herbs. Each batch of organic dye is made separately and custom to ensure richness in colors. Complete process is done by hand, which mean each piece is unique and one of a kind. A Classic rug, KALA is a sustainably made rug that enhances interior spaces and also supports artisan communities ethically. KALA is beautiful geometric design handloom rug, handwoven by a heritage artisan family and one of the last few of its kind in the Community. These master weavers are based in a small village in India with whom Studio Variously exclusively collaborates for high quality small batch production of handloom rugs. KALA rug is a simplified reflection of the wave patterns found in the clothing patterns of the artisans. 100% handspun wool and organic dyes made completley by the artisans families have been used in this rug.
