Variously Founder was invited to be part of the panel for Ethical Fashion by Asteya , at Women's Convention Detroit 2017 organized by Women's March at The Cobo Center.
Variously Founder Anjali Purohit joined an exciting lineup of panelist's at Women's Convention in Detroit from all over the country. Fellow panelists included Sarah Ayers, Founder of the cut and sew shop William + Bonnie and natural textile dyeing business Home Grown Textiles, Lori McColl CEO + Founder of the retail tech consulting firm Whim-Detroit, Bob Bland CEO + Founder of Manufacture New York & Co-President of the Women's March, and Tabitha St. Bernard-Jacobs, Women's March Team Member and Co-Founder of labels Tabii Just and LIVARI, a totally sustainable, women-led, zero waste fashion brand that's bringing a new brand of female-focused activism to New York Fashion Week. Asteya a personal styling company based on the principles of sustainability was a fantastic curator and moderator for the event.
It was an extremely enriching experience joined by these incredibly successful women from all over US in Detroit , on a mission to create awareness on ethical fashion from various aspects of design, styling, production & technology.

Textiles work with possible application in interior and architectural spaces part of Future Focus Emerging Designer Spotlight Exhibit by Architectural Institute of America , Detroit Chapter. Anjali Purohit, founder of Variously was chosen among others as one of the Future Focus Emerging Designer Spotlight. The exhibition was held at the historical Eastern Market in Detroit.
Variously participated in Detroit Design Festival annual shopping event at Ponyride, a co working space in Corktown,Detroit.
Selected handwoven scarves in cashmere & linen were showcased and sold in the Design Village .

On July 27th, Variously joined as a panel at f LTU Detroit Center for Design + Technology filled with fashion enthusiasts to see eco-friendly fashions showcased by local designers and to hear from fashion entrepreneurs who are redefining sustainability within the fashion industry.
